About the establishment
Olesia’s Taverne embodies the dream of chef Olesia Pochynok-Butano, a native of Ukraine who brought authentic flavors of her homeland to Richfield. Inspired by the culinary traditions of her grandmother Maria from the village of Ishkiv, Olesia uses fresh, local ingredients to create dishes prepared from scratch. The establishment occupies three floors of a historic building that was restored with a $2 million investment in 2020:
Main Floor: two elegant dining halls and a bar with a wide selection of drinks (over 45 types of bourbon, 20+ types of tequila, craft cocktails).
Second Floor: a grand ballroom for 120 guests for weddings and large events, as well as a conference room with multimedia equipment.
Lower Level: a Prohibition-era style speakeasy bar, creating an atmosphere of intrigue and offering live music.
Outdoor Space: a spacious patio area with entertainment on weekends during warm seasons.
